Funding
An increasing part of our work is helping clubs with funding bids - whether it is a small application up to £5000 or a larger community facility bid such as Haltwhistle Swimming and Leisure Centre, Prudhoe WestWorld or Prudhoe Football & Sports Centre.
Facility Development -Gaining funding can be difficult for sports clubs, so the Sports Development Team are on hand to support and advise. Our team have a great partnership with the Tynedale Council Economic Development department. We can help clubs develop their own constitutions, policies and development plans.
Club Success- Bellingham Netball Club received £4,000 to launch a new adult squad within their club. The new squad attracts over thirty women and young adults to it’s sessions on a weekly basis. NCL Tynedale have worked closely with Tynedale Rugby Club and Corbridge Football Club to develop a brand new clubhouse extension, enabling local footballers to play and train in their village. The facility grant is set to be in the region of £300,000.
