About Prudhoe Waterworld
The modern fitness centre at Prudhoe Waterworld adds even more variety to an already wide selection of popular activities on offer. The centre boasts over 50 pieces of fitness equipment catering for all levels of fitness, abilities and interests, with the gym offering three areas of fitness for a varied workout from free weights through to group cycling classes.
All cardio vascular machines in the gym have integrated television and radio access providing entertainment while you train and all classes at the centre have also been carefully planned to offer the best combination of activities at the right times for our members.
The centre also has a large leisure pool with wave machine, aqua slide and beach area where children and adults can swim, play and relax, or while the children are playing in our Soft Play area, you can enjoy a drink or something to eat in Café @ Leisure.
Something for Everyone
The centre offers a wide choice of swimming and fitness classes as well as a fully equipped fitness centre and varied exercise programme so there is something for everyone.
Parent & Baby
We hold ante and post natal swimming sessions for expecting and new mothers or why not take advantage of our popular crèche facility while you go to one of our classes or have a session in the fitness centre? Our water babies sessions in the pool get your child used to the water or for slightly older children there’s our Insides Out soft play area.
Children
North Country Leisure supports all national initiatives to encourage and enable children to play sport and we have excellent facilities and a variety of classes and activities to suit everyone.
Some of the activities available for children include swimming lessons and swim fun sessions, junior gym, chart toppers and ballet which are offered all year round and special holiday programmes are created for all school summer and half term holidays.
Adults
We offer twilight, early birds and adult only swims in the pool and a wide choice of fitness classes to combine with your workout in the recently refurbished and fully equipped fitness centre, providing you with a varied exercise programme.
Over 50s
We have weekly young @ Heart swimming and fitness sessions including yoga, salsa dancing and salsacise to keep you fit, healthy and active.
