Changes to NCL Tynedale
Following the change to Northumberland County Council, NCL Tynedale and NCL Alnwick will be known simply as North Country Leisure (NCL) in Northumberland, working in North and West Northumberland. Below is a map to show the areas in West Northumberland.

In West Northumberland, North Country Leisure provides services at Wentworth Leisure Centre, Prudhoe Waterworld, Prudhoe Football and Sports Centre and Prudhoe Westworld. We also have partnership links with Haltwhistle Swimming and Leisure Centre.
We operate a Sports Development team from our head office in Hexham , who provide advice and support to local sports organisations, helping them to secure funding for activities to encourage more people to take part in physical activities.
Healthy Life is our successful partnership scheme between NCL and the Northumberland Care Trust to help people with various medical conditions to take part in different activities in a supervised setting.
We also run a Health Walks scheme which provides a range of walks to suit all abilities.
