Important News for Customers regarding activities at Westworld – Updated 1st February 2010
We are sorry to inform you that as a result of serious damage to three classrooms caused by snow falls at Prudhoe West First School in January the activities at Westworld will not be running until further notice.
The sports hall will be used by the school as a temporary classroom for two of their year groups until repairs are able to be carried out.
We have received confirmation on the progress of building works which will be carried out during February and March. We regret that trampolining sessions will not restart until after Easter as there is not another suitable location to hold these sessions. Gymnastics classes will continue to be held at Wentworth Leisure Centre until the building works are completed. Please contact Wentworth for further information: 01434 607080
We will keep customers up to date regularly with information regarding the repairs and when activities can restart at Westworld, however is unlikely that activities will restart until after Easter 2010.
About Prudhoe Westworld
Westworld is based at Prudhoe West First School where NCL operates the out of hours use of the sports hall. Classes on offer here include popular gymnastics and trampoline sessions, with the current attendees taking part in competitions both nationally and internationally.
