About Copeland Bowls & Sports Centre
The five-rink bowling green at Copeland Bowls and Sports Centre has recently been refurbished, making the centre lighter and brighter; the car park has been re-surfaced and the external lighting has been upgraded.
With more than 220 members, the centre is thriving so whether you are a beginner, regular bowler or simply looking for a good place to make new friends, bowling is a really good social activity to stay fit and healthy. Leagues played at the centre include men's, ladies' and mixed leagues that are open to all members. The centre would like to encourage younger members to join and take up bowling with games played for fun or competitively.
The centre also operates a number of synthetic pitches which are popular with local football and hockey clubs and host the range of football coaching courses for children managed by the Northumberland Football Partnership.
